Heavy rains have again caused widespread flooding and landslides in Papua New Guinea's East New Britain province.
The province had barely recovered from severe flooding last month when more bad weather came this week.
The chair of East New Britain's disaster committee, Wilson Matava, told Johnny Blades the province requested help from the national government to provide relief to affected communities, and to fix damaged infrastructure.
