Well known New Zealand journalist Jonathan Milne is about to take a different path.
Mr Milne has held a series of senior posts with Stuff and at major New Zealand papers, such as the Sunday Star Times and the Herald on Sunday.
But in June he is heading to Rarotonga to become editor of the Cook Islands News, where he will marshal a team of five journalists.
Don Wiseman asked him what prompted his new direction.
