Cooks' govt ups efforts to get people growing

From , 3:00 pm on 14 June 2019

The Cook Islands Ministry of Agriculture is releasing three booklets this week with the aim of sparking enthusiasm for growing food.

The booklets cover the growing of pawpaw throughout the country and citrus on Rarotonga, because most of the outer islands are  too small and exposed to sea winds, and lacking adequate soil.

The third book, as a director of the ministry, William Wigmore, explained to Don Wiseman, gives tips on growing vegetables.
