Pacific Forum eyes deadline on West Papua matter

Human rights violations in West Papua are being given fresh prioritisation on the agenda of the Pacific Islands Forum.

Forum Foreign ministers met in Suva late last month, laying out the agenda for this month's Pacific leaders summit in Tuvalu.

Johnny Blades told Jamie Tahana the ministers' decision to set a deadline in relation to Papua reflects a shift in regional dynamics.
