Civil society groups are meeting in Solomon Islands this week to strengthen their ability to sustain peace.
Peace builders from the church as well as networks led by women and young people are being consulted by the Global Partnership for the Prevention of Armed Conflict.
Its chair, Sharon Bhagwan Rolls, says even though it's been 20 years since the end of the crisis in the Solomons, rioting after this year's election shows there's no room for complacency.
