The Clerk of the Cook Islands Parliament was in New Zealand recently and was the first to participate in an initative to strengthen Pacific governance.

Tangata Vainerere spent the week observing New Zealand politics up close and learning new skills to improve parliamentary function.

While he was in Wellington he spoke with Jenny Meyer, who asked him how things are going in the Cook Islands parliament after questions with Albert Nicholas's attendance in the house earlier in the year.
