A dispute over a controversial development at an American Samoa malae shows no sign of abating.
The malae, or meeting ground at Fagatogo is hugely significant in American Samoa where some locals are incensed that a redevelopment led to the paving of a large area in front of a new pavilion.
Locals wanted that area to remain a lawn and have been protesting in various ways, most recently a road block.
