The Honiara Amateur Boxing Association in Solomon Islands will be hosting its first ever international tournament this month.
The association's Johnathan Tapsell says it is quite a significant undertaking in a country without any public boxing facilities or internationally qualified referees.
International boxing tournaments have been held in Honiara in the past but always under the auspices of the national federation.
Koroi Hawkins spoke with Mr Tapsell about the tournament, which will see men and women boxers from the Kairuku Amateur Boxing Association in Papua New Guinea hosted in the Solomon Islands capital.
