People on Fiji's south-western island of Kadavu say they've been living in fear since a magnitude 5.1 quake last week.
Disaster authorities have warned villagers living around Mt Washington to avoid the volcano, also known as Mt Nabukelevu, because of seismic activity and associated rock fall.
Ioape Lutumailagi, of Qalira Village, says it's been eight days and they can still feel the tremors.
The 62-year-old told Christine Rovoi that his family was having breakfast when the earthquake hit.
