Auckland Uni strengthens its Pacific links in Manukau

From , 5:02 am on 31 October 2019

The University of Auckland has leased new facilities for a stand alone presence in South Auckland, which is home to much of New Zealand's Pacific  population.

The change will enable the university to have a dedicated space for students from South Auckland and introduce programmes of particular relevance for the area, such as teaching.

The Pro Vice-Chancellor (Pacific) Damon Salesa told Don Wiseman the presence will help strengthen community partnerships and increase study options for communities.
