The International Finance Corporation wants to show investors in the Pacific how to tap into the enormous potential of green buildings.
A new report from the IFC, which is part of the World Bank group, shows there's billions of dollars of investment opportunities in the Pacific, especially in residential buildings.
It says a focus on green buildings will spur economic growth and accelerate sustainable development.
Don Wiseman spoke with the IFC's senior specialist on green buildings, Ommid Saberi, and began by asking him what is a green building.
