The Central Bank of Solomon Islands is warning the public against putting money into a new ponzi scheme called One Link Pacifica.
Despite being registered as a fishing company, One Link has been receiving cash deposits from clients who have been promised a 300 percent return on their investment within 30 days.
The director of the Central Bank's Financial Intelligence Unit, Jimmy Sendersly, says One Link is using the ponzi scheme model, which pays out rewards in the early stages to convince more people to sign up.
