At the Polyfest event next week in Auckland people will be confronted, educated and entertained by the Laboratory In A Box.
This laboratory is being used by the Dodd-Walls Centre - one of New Zealand's centres of research excellence - to foster the interest of young Pacifica in science.
Otago University physics professor David Hutchinson, who is a director at the Dodd-Walls Centre, told Don Wiseman that going to Polyfest in Auckland is part of a broader outreach to Pacific communities.
