Papua New Guinea's Police Minister says significant reforms are underway within the constabulary.
Bryan Kramer says reform has started with efforts to weed out poor administration and corruption within the police hierarchy in Port Moresby.
Under new police commissioner David Manning, PNG's police force is also trying to address long standing problems of ill-discipline and under-resourcing.
Mr Kramer, who was appointed nine months ago, told Johnny Blades that reform is being conducted in a systematic way.
