Villagers in a Papua New Guinea highlands ward hit by a major landslide have been advised to move from the area due to the risk of more landslides.
Ten bodies have so far been recovered from the weekend slip which buried twelve people in Tendepo ward of Western Highlands province.
The administrator of Tambul-Nebilyer district, Phillip Talpa, told Johnny Blades an excavator was quickly sent to the area with help from police and the community.
