A Kiribati community north of Auckland has started a project to build an authentic cultural hub over the next few years.
The Kiribati Aotearoa Diaspora Directorate is a youth-led trust behind the Kiribati Integrated Manaeba Project.
In the Rodney district, where there is a growing Pacific population, the project will provide a much-needed cultural space for these new migrants.
