Auckland-based Molia Alama Tulafono grew up in Tuvalu and has been involved with dance for over 25 years.
The official launch of the residency starts this Saturday in Auckland, but with a twist given the restrictions of alert level three lockdown.
Ms Tulafono spoke with Sela Jane Hopgood about preparations for the six-week residency.
