Pacific leaders are warning the world is on red alert when it comes to the climate crisis.
A global stock take has warned the earth's atmosphere will heat up by more than 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels unless nations produce tougher policies.
The UK-based New Climate Institute says some countries have yet to submit a climate plan and others such as Australia are judged to have offered no substantial improvement on their previous proposals.
