A high profile corruption case is underway in the Cook Islands involving the current prime minister Mark Brown and his predecessor Henry Puna.
Both men are being accused of fraud and misusing public money.
This is in relation to chartering a flight to bring back MPs from the outer islands after the 2018 election for the intention of forming a new government.
