Timor-Leste has been hit by deadly flooding and landslides amid the threat of a new Covid-19 outbreak.
According to local authorities, six children are among dozens who lost their lives during the Easter weekend disaster which also destroyed homes, bridges and roads - inundating the capital.
Amid all of this the country announced its first covid-related death on Monday - a 44-year-old woman who had been undergoing treatment for the infection in Dili.
Her death was announced on the same day Timor Leste received its first batch of Covid-19 vaccinces.
