A new child wellbeing programme is being designed and tested in Auckland to try and improve access for Pasifika children.
It was prompted by a review of the Well Child Tamariki Ora Programme in New Zealand, which identified inequities and failings for Pacific children and their families.
The Pasifika B4 School - Child and Family Wellbeing Study will work with three Pacific ECEs in Auckland alongside Pacific well child nurses to design and test a child wellbeing programme.
