Fiji Health authorities have asked passengers who arrived in Fiji last week from Africa to self isolate pending investigations they may have been exposed to the new covid variant, Omicron.
Health Secretary Dr James Fong confirmed the cases of interest were Fijian nationals returning from Africa.
Dr Fong said the Covid-positive travellers in quarantine had arrived in the country from African states before the Govt was aware about Omicron.
