Tongans will shortly find out who their new prime minister will be.
It appears that after a month of negotiations it will be the nobles who make the critical decision.
There are two candidates former minister,'Aisake Eke, who was returned to parliament last month after losing his seat in 2017, and the caretaker education minister, Siaosi Sovaleni.
Our correspondent Kalafi Moala told Don Wiseman that Mr Sovaleni's position appears to have strengthened in the past couple of days.
