Pacific well poised for the return of tourism

The South Pacific Tourism Organisation says Covid-19 has led to many nations and territories in the region having to reset their tourism plans.

The organisation, which has 20 government members, is the mandated representative for tourism in the Pacific.

Its CEO Chris Cocker says the last two years has seen zero-return on tourism for the region.

But he told Moera Tuilaepa-Taylor in Palau that Covid-19 has forced many of its government members to re-evaluate their tourism plans.
