The Federated States Micronesia is the last of three North Pacific US countries to sign an MoU with Washington as they negotiate the renewal of economic support through their respective Compacts of Free Association with the United States; Approximately 91 Tongan RSE workers have been rescued or evacuated out of the 300 across Hawke's Bay in the central North Island during the severe flooding event that has brought parts of New Zealand to its knees; Papua New Guinea's Women's football team are only two games away from qualifying for the Women's Football World Cup.
