Parts of Guam without power and water two weeks on from typhoon

Guam is still recovering two-weeks after being pummelled by typhoon Mawar which brought sustained wind speeds of up to 225 kilometres per hour and in some locations rain exceeding half a meter in the space of 12 hours.

Parts of the island are still without power and water. 

RNZ Pacific's Caleb Fotheringham spoke with Dededo village mayor, Melissa Savares about the response.
