It's a race against time once Maori and Pasifika women in New Zealand are diagnosed with breast cancer.

A report released last year revealed Maori women are thirty-three percent more likely to die within 10 years of diagnosis and for Pasifika women the odds are even higher at fifty two percent.

This week,'Breast Cancer Trials' oncology research group hosted a Q & A event in Auckland discussing the issues women in these communities face.
