Greens MP Teanau Tuiono says there are nowhere near enough Pasifika voices in New Zealand's next government.
The Greens formed the previous government with Labour's Jacinda Ardern and then Chris Hipkins.
But they failed to secure a majority this time round.
Mr Tuiono who is from Atiu in the Cooks and Ngāpuhi in Aotearoa is fuming over what he says is race-baiting politics by the incoming government.
RNZ Pacific's Lydia Lewis began by asking him why diversity in government is important.
