The President of Palau has confirmed to RNZ Pacific that the Micronesian Presidents Summit bloc still supports the contraverial former Nauru President as their candidate for the next Sectretary General of the Pacific Islands Forum.
Surangel Whipps Jr says they reached consensus at their sub regional meeting in Rarotonga, as part of the Leaders Summit.
