Team Cook Islands have departed and have been given a strong send off in the lead up to the Pacific Games
The multi-sport event happens every four years among athletes from around Pacific and this year it's in Solomon Islands from 19 November to 2nd of December.
The event sees 5000 athletes and officials come together to compete across 24 sports.
The Cook Islands team general Manager Jason Lindsay is taking a 250 contingent and fourteen federation teams.
