New Zealand weightlifter David Liti says he welcomes the competition his Samoan rival Sanele Mao brings to the Olympic qualification race.
The pair are the best of the best in oceania for the over 109k-g category.
Liti won gold over Mao with a lift total of 405 Kilograms.
