A fleet of traditional voyaging canoes have been welcomed into Kualoa bay, Hawaii heralding the beginning of the Festival of Pacific Arts and Culture.
Hundreds of Pacific Islanders gathered on the shore to witness and participate in the special Wa'a ceremony.
