Nauru to host 2026 Micronesian Games

Nauru have been awarded the rights to host the 2026 Micronesian Games after this year's event wrapped up successfully on Monday night in the Marshall Islands.

The Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas were the most successful of the ten islands competing in Majuro with 70 gold medals in the unofficial tally on Monday followed by Nauru on 68 Gold and hosts Marshall Islands on 47 Gold medals.

At the time this program was recorded the official medal tally was still being finalised.
