Ofani Eremae says hundreds of In-Depth Solomon news posts dating back several months were blocked overnight and no other media in the country were affected.
Mr Eremae says he is still waiting on Meta for an explanation.
He spoke with RNZ Pacific Editor Koroi Hawkins about the incident.
In a statement to RNZ Pacific a Meta spokesperson said: "The content was removed due to a technical error and has been swiftly restored, we apologise for any inconvenience."
