New Zealand's deputy Prime Minister Winston Peters is leaving for Fiji tonight, his first stop on a four country Pacific tour.
Mr Peters will continue north to the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia and Palau.
RNZ Pacific's Caleb Fotheringham is travelling with Mr Peters and speaks with Pacific Waves host Susana Suisuiki.
