Senior Pacific journalists are working on a book they hope will capture some of the rich history of the development of media in the region.
It will centre around the over 50 years of work by the Pacific Islands News Association or PINA which was one of the first Pacific media organisations of its kind set-up in the region.
The association which also runs a regional news agency operates out of Fiji's capital, Suva.
RNZ Pacific's Moera Tuilaepa-Taylor has this report.
