Alan McGee, the man who discovered Oasis is a hard man to track down. Since the heady days of running Creation Records McGee has been an active DJ, a regular blogger for The Guardian newspaper and still manages a small roster of English artists. Trevor Reekie eventually tracked down McGee driving to Santa Monica in LA where he is overseeing the recording of the new Dirty Pretty Things album. Trevor Reekie talks to Alan McGee about the deconstruction of the music business.
