The cutting-edge British film director Peter Greenaway is causing huge controversy in New York. Known for controversial movie works like Drowning by Numbers (1988), and his most successful film, The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover (1989) - Greenaway's non-cinema work is no different.
His current project is to create computer generated enhancements of great works of art - and its provoked both delight and disgust. The BBC's Harriett Gilbert reports
