Peter Nestler is a seven time world champion in a sport that's not just kid's stuff anymore. He jumps rope. And what Peter Nestler does is not like what most of us did as kids on the footpath in front of the house. He can do tricks like the Chinese Wheel, Double Dutch, and the Egg Beater. He's now on a nationwide tour of New Zealand to show kids here the ropes, and help them get fit while having fun.

The Portage Ceramics Trust was formed six years ago to buy a privately owned six thousand piece collection of Crown Lynn china and pottery, for $250,000. Its kept the collection carefully packed away, until it finally gets a proper place to establish a museum. That'll now happen by the end of the year in the Auckland suburb of New Lynn, the former home of the Crown Lynn factory.
