It was developed with a specific focus on suitability for boys in years five to eight. And won the coveted 'purple pin' award at last year's Best Design awards. Robert Whitaker is from Chrometoaster, the company that developed the game.

The new Disney remake of Beauty and the Beast is released in New Zealand cinemas today. And the modern classic has drawn criticism and controversy. Lorna Piatti Farnell is associate professor of Popular Media and Cultural History, at AUT. And she even teaches a paper called 'Popular Monsters'.

3:10 Masterpieces with Tim Shadbolt

Invercargill Mayor Tim Shadbolt looks back on his favourite protest during the anti-vietnam war movement.

Tim Shadbolt was a student anti-war activist during the 1960s and 1970s.

He was arrested 33 during this time, including for using the word “bullshit", hence the title of his autobiography, Bullshit and Jellybeans.

He organised weekly meetings in Albert Park known as the “Jumping Sundays” to raise awareness of New Zealand’s role in the war, and to encourage people to protest.

He looks back on those times, addressing the crowds in Albert Park.
