In fact - a new 'Women in Space' network has just been launched to connect women across the sector in Aotearoa.

3:35 Critter of the Week: The Walking Reindeer Fly

This week’s critter is the Walking Reindeer Fly. We know very little about our diverse and fascinating native flies here in New Zealand. One group of critters that have flown (or not flown) under the radar are the crane flies of the Genus Gynoplistia. Within this group, there are 6 wingless species that sport antlers as impressive as any reindeer or stag.
