Russell residents are concerned that the sole police officer in their community is being moved out of the town and into Paihia.

A petition has been launched to keep their local officer in their town amidst concerns if there were an emergency, it would take at least an hour for the officer to turn up from Paihia.

A well known and popular Hawke's Bay restaurant was celebrating a culinary win after being awarded a "hat" in the Cuisine Good Food awards when it was hit by a devastating fire.

Regnar Christensen is the chef at the Black Barn Bistro, in the heart of wine country. His food is the reason why the hat was awarded.

He talks to Jesse about their menu and their come back from the devastating fire last week, which thankfully did not destroy the bistro.

Australian Actress Sarah Wynter, known for her roles in 24 and Goliath, carried a painful secret about what happened to her after the birth of her twin boys more than 10 years go. She suffered from the most severe form of post-partum depression and was hospitalized.  She's sharing her story now and is executive producer of a new movie that seeks to start a conversation about maternal mental health called A Mouthful of Air.
