1:15 After the rain: a plumber's story

Taieri Mouth is a small fishing village at the mouth of the Taieri River 40 kilometres south of Dunedin - population 280.Like a lot of the Clutha district, Dunedin and coastal Otago, it was hammered by rain last week.

That meant local plumber, Alvin Swete was kept busy checking on his neighbours. He's been flat tack since and he's got some advice about what to do with your plumbing after extreme weather hits.

1:25 International acclaim for local chocolate

Bean-to Bar chocolate maker Foundry Chocolate has won a Best in Show Award for their single origin 70% dark chocolate bar at the North West Chocolate Festival - held a few days ago in Seattle, Washington. Jesse talks to David Herrick, Foundry's chocolate maker.

"The Heist - The Birkenhead Foodtown Robbery" is the story of what happened when armed robbers held up an Amour Guard truck outside Foodtown in Auckland's Birkenhead, stealing over one million dollars in today's money. It took them less than three minutes.  

Scott Bainbridge, one of the country's most prominent true-crime authors, talks Jesse through the story.
