Saturated Fats and Heart Disease

A group of international scientists has slammed the belief that saturated fats clog up the arteries, causing coronary heart disease.

The authors of an editorial published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine argue the disease is instead caused by chronic inflammation - and the best prevention and treatment are 'real' food and a brisk 22-minute daily walk.

One of the authors of the editorial is Rita Redberg, a cardiologist and UCLA professor.
