To mark Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori, Ngā Taonga Sound & Vision has launched an online exhibition of the oldest recordings of a Māori radio broadcast, which was a hui held at Turangawaewae Marae in 1938 to mark the opening of a carved home for the Māori King Korokī and his family.
Sarah Johnston from Ngā Taonga plays some excerpts of this audio taonga.
