One day Nina Mitchell's mind went pop. She started losing movement on her right side.

When asked what her mother's name was she answered "turn left". At 26-years-old Nina Mitchell was having a stroke.  She would need brain surgery, months in the hospital and years of speech and physical therapy to recover. And recover she did. She went to graduate school, got back to work, got married and had a baby.

She writes about her experience and the warning signs of a stroke on her blog, MindPop. Nina tells Jesse about her story.
