"I swear my mum listened to a lot of Cat Stevens in the womb because the first time I heard his voice I was like 'It sounds like the voice of God!" - Canadian alt-country artist Frazey Ford.
Ford was a founding member of 90s folk indie band Be Good Tanyas.
She tells Jesse Mulligan that she grew up in the "hippie mountain zone" of the Kootenays with her American draft dodger parents, but now lives in Vancouver.
"So I'm sort of a city bitch and kind of a country bitch."
She plays Cat Stevens 'How Can I Tell You' from the 1971 album Teaser and the Firecat – a cover she first performed at her grandmother's funeral.
