Italian composer Ennio Morricone has scored more than 500 films and television shows during his feted career.
Among them are some of the most distinctive pieces of music in all cinema, including the theme to Sergio Leone's Spaghetti Western masterpiece The Good the Bad and the Ugly, the Dollars trilogy, and "Gabriel's Oboe" from The Mission.
Wellington film composer Ewan Clark joins us in studio to talk about this titan of film music.
