This week, DoC's threatened species ambassador, Nicola Toki tells us about the incredible accidental discovery of a new insect species by Dunedin academic Brodie Foster and Professor Jon Waters of Otago University.
It is a wing-reduced species of the stonefly genus Zelandoperla Tillyard, and has been named the Maungatua Stonefly.
