In November 1947 a fire broke out at Ballantynes department store in Christchuch. 41 people died in the blaze.
Ablaze is a new drama on TVNZ which tells the story of the workers inside the building, who stayed doing their jobs even as the smoke began to rise. Josh Frizzell directed the movie and is in studio to give us a preview.
